Another 10 miniatures painted of the Warhammer Quest : Silver Tower box.
Pink , Blue and Flame Horrors.
These are my favorites : Pink Horrors
Love them , probably get some more of those.
Blue Horrors.
And Flame Horrors.
I thought these were going to be done quickly, but there's a lot of detail that makes your time fly away! But I think it was more 'me' that was the problem. ( 4 days of high fever behind me now from yet again an episode of insect-bites )
On to the next project !
Painted : 100 / 200

these turned out great. ive still got mine to paint up. whats colours did you use on the pink and blue horrors?
ReplyDeleteThank you very much !
DeleteFor the Pink Horrors I used a base of black primer highlighted with white by airbrush. Then I used Vallejo Squid pink , then Armypainter red tone wash and finally drybrush with Changeling pink. That's it for the skin.
Gold : Vallejo Glorious gold , Agrax Earthshade wash and Glorious gold hihglight.
Silver : Leadbealcher , Nuln oil wash and highlight with Runefang steel.
Tongue : Screamer pink , Drucci violet wash and highlight with screamer pink.
Bone : Rakarth flesh , Nuln oil wash with Pallid wych flesh highlights.
Fire : Vallejo air 71083 , 71039 for the top side , Yellow glaze , 71083 by brush enhancing the oranje. And Pallid wych flesh highlights on eyes and teeth.
Red gems : Mephiston red , Evil sunz scarlet with white highlight and Vallejo gloss varnish.
Blue Horrors skin : Base with black primer , white highlights with airbrush. Then I used Vallejo air 71083 French blue , Armypainter blue tone , drybrush with Temple guard blue and finally blue glaze.
Tongue : Deamonette hide with Drucci violet wash.
That's all I used. I hope it is of some help to you. Please send me a link when yours are done. I'm looking forward to see them !
