Paint Table Saturday 43th edition !

A bit late because yesterday the paint table was empty.

Today i started painting on the Dwarf Cannon 3 + crew & the Dwarf Bolt Thrower + crew.

These 2 groups will take their place in the Ironhill army (grey bases), because they have no artillery yet. 

I managed to finish the flesh & hair on the crews.

The Cannon just in basecoat & the Bolt Thrower still needs basecoat 

(no black spray-can , has to be done by airbrush or buy new spray-can).

Harad warriors Finished !

Today I finished the Harad warriors.

I'm very happy with the result. And also glad that they are finally finished.

 The group of 13 warriors  placed on the Mumak.

Harad warriors : 6 archers finished !

Yesterday I finished 6 Harad warriors ( archers ).

I switched the purple , black and red to diversify the miniatures.

Otherwise it became too dull and boring for me.

Painted : 158 / 200

Harad warrior test-figure finished !

Today I finished the test-figure for the Harad warriors.

I really like the outcome and the other miniatures will be next.

I love the purple tones. 

These will surely be used in an other army / project.

Paint Table Saturday 42th edition !

Paint Table Saturday 42th edition !

I decided to start on the Haradrim warriors of the Mumak of Harad.

I'm using the Citadel painting guide to paint them.

But I'm not following the colors. I'm using my own more vibrant color-scheme.

And I start from a white basecoat instead of a black one.

All are basecoated and have their faces and hands done. 

Now I'm testing my color-scheme out on one of them.

And I'm satisfied with what I'm already seeing.

Mumak of Harad finished !

Yesterday I finished the Mumak of Harad.

I started it in October 2012 and now August 2014 it is finally finished ! 

As a huge Lord of the rings and Hobbit fan, I'm a bit ashamed to paint so little of these beautiful miniatures.

I hope to keep some momentum going to finish some more Lord of the rings miniatures in the next few months.

As I had an empty paint table yesterday, I post today.

I have continued the Mamuk of Harad. This is a miniature that is a wip for many years now. I never felt much to finish the miniature. And now I started once again with the intention to finish at least the mumak.

The Harad can still wait a bit. We'll see.

The Mumak is finished. Now the tower on top of it.
