My contribution to the Paint Table. The High Elves Mage from the Island of Blood box.

I've been working on him since Tuesday.

I used the same color-scheme as the rest and added more colors.

The green for the cloak to stay in touch with their nature side.

The purple for the spirit cloud he floats on.

And the red and blue flasks : life & mana potions.

High Elves Prince on Griffon Finished !

High Elves Prince on Griffon from the Island of Blood box finished !

I used the same color-scheme as the Sword Masters of Hoeth and added some new ones.

The blue for our Royal Prince.

The griffon color-scheme is based on a Eagle & a Lion.

And the finished base ...

Paint Table Saturday 46th edition !

I'm currently working on the base of the High Elves Prince on Griffon.

As you see it is a Dwarf statue ( the head ) from Scibor ( they have awesome scenery stuff and miniatures too of course ).

first primed it with black , then painted the stone grey & the plants green of course and the skulls some bone color. Washed it all with Nuln oil.

The Prince and his Griffon are completely finished and will be shown when the base is finished in the next post !

High Elves Prince on Griffon WIP

After finishing Spider-Bananaaa! on Monday I started the High Elves Prince on Griffon.

Here is an update on my progress.

Griffon is almost done , eyes , beak and legs still left to do.

Prince just started , only armor silver and gold done and wood and leather also done.

Everything on the prince needs touch ups and highlights.

Hobby Creatief Salon at Hasselt

Today I went to Hobby Creatief Salon at Hasselt with my wife Sofie.

She was thrilled with all the creative booth's.

We also took the time to paint some ceramic owls. ( Sofie collects owls )

So here are the two owls.

The purple one is hers and the green one is done by me.

Spider - Bananaaa !

I finished the Spider - Bananaaa ! today which I bought yesterday on KMK Scaleworld .

I felt the need to paint something silly.

I really like this take on superhero's.

It's just fun to paint !

I started on the High Elf on Griffon of  the Island of Blood box.

I didn't get far ... just the cleaning ...

Next up base-coat & painting of course...

If I don't start on the KMK Scaleword miniatures ( the funny Heroes ).

KMK Scaleworld event at Mol / Belgium

Today we went to KMK Scaleworld at Mol / Belgium.

We didn't have much time to look around because we had a family-diner to go to...

But we had lots of fun & loot ...

Like you see this event is more about the military... and I was pleasantly surprised to see more fantasy miniatures then last year ...

And this is the loot for today ...

These miniatures ( unpainted of course, I could not resist these funny looking creatures in hero costumes ), a wooden base, some grass, Airbrush cleaner and Vallejo paint ( extra opaque basecoat color )
