Merry Christmas ! And Vanja the Giant Fire Princess 2 finished !

We ( my wife & I ) wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays !

And miniature wise I finished the second version of Vanja.

I switched the color scheme. Gem colors become Armour and Cloak colors and visa versa.

And a reminder how the first Vanja looks like ...

Second Vanja fire giant WIP

I'm currently working on a second Vanja fire giant from Reaper Bones.

I painted the skin. It only needs a final highlight.

The hair is done and yes it is pink.

Gold parts of the armour are done. Only needs final highlighting.

Dwarf Beserker with Talons finished ! ( Avatars of War : Dwarf Pit fighter )

Today I finished the Dwarf Pit fighter from Avatars of War.

I can't say it enough... I love the character of these models.

6 Moscal Dwarf Warriors finished !

Yesterday I finished 6 Moscal Dwarf Warriors from Scibor.

I picked them up at CRISIS 2015.

This will become a group of 12. So 6 more to go to complete this group.

Paint Table Saturday 111th edition !

A lot going on this Saturday. As last Thursday was my last day of work , I had some more time for painting. Not that much as I'm helping my wife Sofie again with her second Mini-X-mas happening where she sell her handmade jewels & accessories ! The miniatures...

A second Vanja (from Reaper). I started on the last 2 Doomcrushers on Warbears.

I started on an Avatars of War Dwarf with Talons , I started on a second hero of the Super Dungeon Explore - Forgotten King and her pet.

And I started on the first 6 Moscal Dwarfs. This will become a group of 12 warriors.

So that's a whole lot of starts ... now lets finish them one at a time ...

2 more Dwarf Doomcrushers on Warbears finished !

Today I finished the bases of the 2 Dwarf Doomcrushers on Warbears and now they are finished !

I really enjoy modelling and painting these miniatures as they give such a satisfying result !

I love it when I can achieve what's in my mind.

And the 3 that are already finished !

Dwarf Doomcrusher Champion on Warbear finished !

Today I finished the fist Dwarf Doomcrusher on Warbear : the Champion.

I made my own version of bear-riders with Scibor bears and Avatars of War Doomcrushers

The base is a scratch built one from cork.

Paint Table Saturday 109th edition !

This weeks contribution to Paint Table Saturday is some prep work.

I primed the heroes from Super Dungeon Explore - Forgotten King and they're ready to paint.

I finished the Dwarf Doomcrusher Champion on Warbear ( see him in the next post ! ) and I already converted 2 more Doomcrushers on Warbears. (This will be a group of 5 bears with Doomcrushers )

I'm very happy with the result of the Doomcrushers on Warbears , but my first feeling was to use rams ( mountain goats , like in the Hobbit 3 with armored Dwarfs with spears ). I've searched the web and stores and came up with only one interesting model from reaper and with one you can't create a group of at least 5. Then I found an other option on the web , to create my own Dwarf on ram at http://www.imagine3dminiatures.com/. This is a very nice option , but for me too expensive as I would pay about 16 euro for the Dwarf and another 12 up to 40 euro for the ram. So in total for the cheapest version about 28 euro for only 1 Dwarf Ram-rider. And still only one position the ram is positioned in. I wasn't convinced.
