40K : Black Templar : 3 Primaris Eradicators + 5 Primaris marines finished !

I finished 2 groups for my Black Templar army. The Eradicators (3) & the Primaris marines (5). The Black Templar army keeps on growing ! On to the next groups !

40K : Leagues of Votann : Ironhead Squat Prospectors gang finished !

Awaiting the new Leagues of Votann models , I painted the Ironhead Squat Prospectors gang that I received from my lovely wife Sofie for my birthday. Thanks again honey !!! I plan to use these as the first group of my Leagues of Votann army. I preordered the Leagues of Votann army box , witch I'm looking forward to buy soon at my local gaming center Oberonn.

The Ironhead Squat Prospectors gang are originally a group from the Necromunda game.

40K : Black Templar : Venerable & Ironclad Dreadnought finished !

I finished 2 Dreadnoughts today. A Venerable and a Ironclad Dreadnought for my Black Templar army. The Venerable Dreadnought (left) is converted with parts of the Nemisis Dreadknight from the Grey knights. I used the sword with hand from this set. I also used a Terminator shield to cover the hole in the sword hand.

40K : Black Templar : Scenery : Shrine of the Aquila finished !

I finally finished my Shrine of the Aquila. It's been gathering dust here for more than 10 years now. And I had the perfect idea ... turn it into a base for the Black Templars ! After finding absolutely no inspiration on the internet , I started to paint... and here is the result !

And some Black Templar couldn't wait to test their new base out !

40K : Black Templar : 2 Land Raiders finished !

Yes you read it right. I finished 2 Land Raiders for the Black Templar army. Why paint one when you can paint 2. One with twin-linked lascannons and one with heavy bolters.

This one was a second hand tank , painted in gold. I wanted to turn it into a Land Raider for my Custodes army , but the Black Templars decided otherwise. Also a lesson learned : I'll never buy a painted tank / flyer again. Because some paint doesn't come of and ruins the paint job (and makes holes). At least a bit and you have to solve the problems creatively. Or at least try...
