I finished a box of Assault Terminators for my Black Templar army. This box was lying here since before this blog existed (before 2011). I never painted terminators before , except the ones from the Assault on Black reach box in the beginning of my painting hobby.

Aeronautica Imperialis : Adeptus Astartes : Black Templar Thunderhawk Gunship & Storm Eagle squadron finished !
I finished 2 boxes of models from Aeronautica Imperialis. The Thunderhawk Gunship (1) & the Storm Eagle squadron (2). I painted them in the Black Templar color-scheme. As I'm currently a little obsessed with this army.
I looked for inspiration to paint these fantastic models on the internet , but was very disappointed with the limited painted models. Even on You tube was very little inspiration. Only 1 video on the subject. Where do you get your inspiration or idea's ? Let me know in the comments ! Thanks !

Dwarfs : Battle for Skull pass : 4 Fyreslayers finished !
I finished 4 Fyreslayers for my Dwarfs army as test for some paints & the difference between them. The first 2 from the left are painted like I always paint my Dwarfs. White basecoat with Citadel paints & washes. The third model from the left I painted with Basic acrylics from Liquitex. (Mainly the hair & ropes). The skin was painted with washes from Citadel. Then I painted the model on the right with Contrast paints. My conclusion : It doesn't matter witch paint you use or witch technique. It all looks (sort off) the same. And when you take a picture , it always looks worse than with the naked eye.
But when you look at all the miniatures on social media , you only see perfect painted models & pictures. How do they do it ? Or is it not real and only digital ?
Well take a look at Ebay where they sell those pro painted miniatures. There you see a whole different story. None of the models offered there (not even the most expensive ones / 5000+ euros) match the pictures on social media. They all look worse than the pictures on social media. They look great ( don't get me wrong ) but not like those pictures on social media.

40K : Black Templar : Chaplain finished !
Another finished Black Templar project , the Chaplain. If I had stayed with the original 18 models for this army , I would have finished the army 2 models ago. I'm currently on 20 models for the Black Templar army. Ah well 35 models to go , but it will surely become 36 as I really want to add a Dreadnought to the mix. I hope it stays on that number until they all get finished !
