40K Orks : Speed Freaks : Boomdakka Snazzwagon finished !

As promised , here is the Boomdakka Snazzwagon finished ! I really love how it turned out ! My best Orks yet ( if I do say so myself ).

W.I.P. : February : Week 4

February has almost past. I reached my goal for this month. I painted 21 miniatures. Not the ones I planned to be painted , but the numbers were reached. So I don't complain.

And here is another project that wasn't planned. It was started long ago , but then it didn't get further than a few pieces glued together. Yesterday all pieces got glued and I started painting. Yesterday I finished most of the painting on the Buggy and today the focus lied more on painting the Orks. I also started to fully assemble the painted components to a whole.

The only things left to do are , finish painting on the Grots & make a base. This is reserved for the last day of February (tomorrow). So hopefully tomorrow a new post with the finished model ! And perhaps a look into March...

Warhammer Quest : Pink & Blue Horrors finished !

I finished my Pink & Blue Horrors. They're from the Warhammer Quest Silver Tower box. I already finished mine years ago (link) , but these I ordered recently on Ebay. I just love the pose of the Pink Horrors and the Blue Horrors were a side bonus. They're painted in the same style and colors as the older ones , except for the Pink Horrors. I added a new colored ink from Liquitex to get a more vivid tone of skin.

After finishing the 6 French Troops this happened. I added some Daemons. 2 Pink Horrors & 4 Blue Horrors. They're about 80% done.

No progress on the Ork Air Waagh nor the scenery.

Perry miniatures : 6 French Troops finished !

Another 6 French Troops finished. 

They're fun to do , but still it takes a lot of time to make them look a bit decent. I hope it doesn't take me another 7 years to paint some more...

Runewars : 2 Spearmen finished !

As promised , more and better pictures of the first models. These are 2 spearmen that belong to a group of 16 models.

W.I.P. : February : Week 2

No progress on the French Troops nor the Ork Air Waagh. Little progress on the scenery.

Started with adding gold details on the scenery. I hope it will add the look I want. I'm not sure yet , but it isn't finished yet.

I can't seem to commit to the selection I made this month. I changed them already , removing and adding ... And now another side project emerged : Runewars. 2 Test models are finished and will be seen in the next post.

Perry miniatures : 6 French Troops finished !

As mentioned in my previous post , I finished 6 French Troops. It has been too long since the last time I've painted some. (October 2014) They're painted in the same style as the previous painted troops. And since it's been 7 years ago , the paint level isn't that high. It's quite difficult to not do more and make them more detailed. But not everything has to be top painted , sometimes standard painted is just enough.

W.I.P. : February : Week 1

A few changes happened this week. I moved the 8 Stormcast Eternals & 2 Dark Angels off the paint table. I replaced them with 12 French Troops and 2 scenery pieces (Elven Gate from Scibor). 6 Of the French Troops are already finished and will get their own post next week.

Scenery pieces are base-coated & washed with White Contrast paint. Little progress on the 4 medium Ork Planes. Gold and Silver finished.

And 6 more French Troops. With their pants and shoes done.

High Elves : Phoenix 3 finished !

I finished a third version of the Phoenix for my High Elves army.

I chose the same colors as my other units ( Swordmasters and Sorceress ) : Purple and pink. But then I stumbled upon my inspiration picture and went for a sunset look.
