Today on the paint table are :

High Elves Witch Elves : Almost done , only the stockings and highlighting everything and the base of course.

Newcomer Seoni from Reaper (Pathfinder) : Just did the skin and gold.

She will become a mage in the High Elves army.

Bretonnian Archers and Knight : No progress.

Skaven : Rat ogre skin almost done just highlighting. And some clanrats made the table (primed).

High Elves Eagle finished !

The day before yesterday I started in the evening on this High Elves Eagle.

It is the eagle from the High Elves Lothern Skycutter box witch i bought on ebay ( i didn't need the rest , just the bird ). 

Yesterday i finished the eagle in the usual color-scheme for the High Elves. I used the airbrush to paint the brown feathers. The rest and all highlights is done by brush.

And today i finished the base and magnetized the bird.

The Bretonnian army will be a mix of colors. I'm planning to give every knight a different color-scheme and also give him a few archers & men of war to assist him. I'm starting with 2 of each. When they're all done i will see what direction i will go. Create more with the same colors or create more & different color-schemes. Or stop and keep it small. The men at arms are ordered ( small Christmas present ) and hopefully soon in my possession , just as the Pegasus knight !

These are the first miniatures of 2015 that are finished.

SKAVEN ! 

I think this could be the army that rises to the number of Dwarves I've painted.

But could also be that I stop at the Island of Blood ones. Because otherwise I would fail my 2 & 3th goal for 2015 : Buy less miniatures !

We will see ...

 As I think of it , to create any army as big as the Dwarves would mean to violate the 2 &3th goal.

Paint Table Saturday 61th edition !

Welcome to the first Paint Table Saturday of 2015 !

On my paint table today are still some High Elves Witch Elves ( painted the armor sinds last time ),

some Bretonnian Bowmen ( painted the faces , armor & checker pattern on one of them ),

some Bretonnian Knights ( armor painted ),

Some Skaven Clanrats that stormed the table & got finished already ( More pictures in the next post ),

Giant Skaven Rat Ogre ( primed )

&

6 empty spots ( behind the booze ) waiting to be filled with the next miniatures...

Happy New Year 2015 !

May this year be a better one than last year...

And 2014 was a good year for me, painting 210 miniatures. The most I've painted in one year so far.

Goals of 2014 :

1 Paint as much or more as 2013 ( 125 miniatures ) COMPLETE !

2 Make/paint more terrain / scenery COMPLETE !

3 Buy less miniatures so my inventory gets smaller FAILED !
