KMK SCALEWORLD 2017 at MOL / BELGIUM

Sunday we went to KMK Scaleworld like every year.

To take in the atmosphere and get some fresh ideas.

Lots of sellers , clubs ,etc ...

And of course looking for some loot !

A great day with many wonderful diorama's & painted miniatures !

2 busts : a faceless warrior & Conan.

And restock on some paint.

I've never painted a bust before and I'm looking forward to the challenge !

 Welcome to paint table 201 !

No progress on painted models , just did some prep & prime work.

 More  Elven Obelisks from MINI MONSTERS.

 High Elves Bolt Thrower bought on Ebay.

High Elves White Lions leader on lion ( Thirdriel from MOM miniatures ).

The weapon is converted with an Halberd from the Phoenix guard box. The original weapon was bent & not to my liking.

 5 More Spearmen to complete a group of 10.

 & 5 More Swordmasters to complete also a group of 10.

Stormcast Eternals : Vanguard-Raptors with Longstrike crossbows finished !

 I finished 3 Vanguard Raptors Yesterday. They're equipped with Longstrike crossbows. 

They're painted in my usual painting scheme for the Stormcast Eternals.

I still have to paint their pet birds ( the Aetherwings ). But this will be for an other post.

Painted so far : 191

So 8 months have past already from 2017 and where am I painting wise? As I didn't set a goal for this year , I still strive to paint around 20 mini's of all sizes per month. So 8 x 20 = 160.

I'm a bit ahead of schedule. And that surprises me. As I'm struggling a lot with finishing mini's.

4 months to go and who knows what that will bring painting wise ... We'll take it a post at a time !

High Elves : 10 Archers & 5 Spearmen finished !

 Today I finished the bases for the High Elves archers & spearmen.

 They're painted in the purple color-scheme for this army.

 I really love these old archers & spearmen. Especially their shields !

Another 15 mini's done... up to the next project !

 This will be a quick one as I finished the High Elves ( 10 Archers + 5 Spearmen ). I only need to do the bases & Gloss varnish the gems.

No progress on all others !
