Age of Sigmar : Stormcast Eternal Judicators finished !

Today I finished the remaining 3 Judicators of a group of 5.
The group is finished now.
They're painted in the color-scheme for this army.
Another box finished and removed from the pile.
I've already painted 26 miniatures more than the end result of last year (2014)
My brush is cracking from the extra work ...
And the year aint over yet ...

Paint Table Saturday 99th edition !

Paint Table Saturday 99th edition !
I didn't have much time these last weeks ( & this week was no exception ) as I started working again this month there is less time to paint.

The past 8 months I was at home recovering from back pains. I didn't have as much time then either with all the doctor appointments , tests and exercizes. But I managed to come as far as I did so far.

I'm currently working on the remaining 3 Judicators to complete a group of 5 and the remaining 5 Dwarf Doomcrushers to complete the first group of 10.
Also new review(s) are coming from Soda Pop Miniatures !

And next week is the 100th edition of Paint Table Saturday !

On an other note : I want to thank the people who already voted on the Question 'What do you think of my blog ?'
There're only 4 days remaining to vote !

I hope you all have a great weekend !

Avatars of War : Doomcrushers Veteran Champion finished !

Yesterday I finished the Doomcrushers Veteran Champion.
'What are YOU looking at laddy ?!'
This was a free model with my purchase of the Doomcrushers ( preorder deal of 30 miniatures - Avatars of War ).
I painted him in the same color-scheme as the other Doomcrushers that are already finished.
It is a fantastic model with lots of detail and character.
Like all Avatars of War miniatures ! ( Big fan , obviously )

 Painted : 233 / 250

Avatars of War : Review : Cirlean Imperial Wizard

Avatars of War Review :
A fantastic figure for any human army ( Bretonnian , Empire ,etc ... )
Straight from the box.
A fantastic detailed miniature with ( yet again ) almost no work ( No surplus ) , only assembling the miniature and ready to paint again. Very easy to glue with parts that fit perfectly ! Without any odd spaces you have to fill with greenstuff. Just like all Avatars of War miniatures I already had the pleasure of painting.
No pictures where taken of the assembled model in white primer. I was to fast to start painting.
So excited !
Merlin : 'Hoppab nu swilce swá lieg fleogan' ! ( And a huge fireball hurled at the enemy )
A fantastic miniature to paint , with lots of details and character. Like all miniatures of Avatars of War !
I had much fun painting him and with a great result.
I turned this Cirlean Imperial Wizard into Merlin , Wizard for my Bretonnian army.
This is a fantastic miniature for any human army !
Here you see a comparison with the Bretonnian archer and men at arms.
So my findings :
1 Price : Only 11,95 euro for this amazing miniature : 9 / 10
2 Look : Fantastic looking miniature with lots of details and character : 10 / 10
3 Quality : The quality of the metal is great ! No surplus ! : 10 / 10
Fits perfectly and no gaps that need to be filled !
4 Cleaning the model : No work ! No surplus ! : 10 / 10
5 Painting and time spent painting : 9 / 10
Great fun and very satisfying result with all the details. Again a bit more difficult to paint than the Dwarf Master Gunner.
6 Shipping : Very fast and perfect packaging ! : 10 / 10

This is one of the great miniatures of Avatars of war !

Avatars of War : Review : Knight of Drumminor

Avatars of War Review :
A fantastic figure for any human army ( Brettonian , Empire , Chaos , Norsemen , Viking , etc ... )
Straight from the box.
A fantastic detailed miniature with almost no work ( No surplus ) , only assembling the miniature and ready for painting. Very easy to glue with parts that fit perfectly ! Without any odd spaces you have to fill with greenstuff. Just like all Avatars of War miniatures I already had the pleasure of painting.

I don't have pictures of the assembled model in white primer as you can read in my previous review of the Dwarf Master Gunner.
All hail to the King !
A fantastic model to paint ! I had a great time doing so and a great result to show you.
Also lots of details and character like we always see in the miniatures of Avatars of War !
I painted him as a King for my Bretonnian army. This miniature is a great addition to any human army !
Here are some pictures with a comparison to other human models : like Bretonnians and Chaos.
The Knight of Drumminor is a bit bigger than the Bretonnian archers and men at arms or the Chaos marauder. And the same size as a Chaos warrior.
See the Cirlean Imperial Wizard in the next review of Avatars of War !
 So my findings :
1 Price : Only 11,95 euro for this amazing model : 9 / 10
2 Look : Fantastic looking model with lots of detail and character : 10 / 10
3 Quality : The quality of the metal is great ! No surplus ! : 10 / 10

I'm currently working on reviews for Avatars of war. Their new miniatures : Cirlean Imperial wizard and the Knight of Drumminor. Until they're finished there will be no progress on the rest.
Also I attended a Hobby convention today with my wife at Mechelen ( Belgium ).
She needed lots of things to keep her hobby's going. So we went shopping.
My wife Sofie's loot !

Avatars of War : Review : Dwarf Master Gunner

Avatars of War Review :
A great figure for an engineer !
Straight from the box.
A fantastic detailed miniature with almost no work ( no surplus ).
Just cut of the handle of the gun and glue it to the gun case.
And ready for painting !
I loved the idea of this fella on a rocky terrain, so I created my own with some cork.
I don't have pictures of the model in the white primer. I was to fast and already half the miniature was painted before I thought of pictures. ( Dwarfs = my addiction :) )
??! What was the location of that canon I had to fix ??!
I had a great time painting this fella !
So many details and awesome result !
 So my findings :
1 Price : Only 11,45 euro, one of the lowest prices for Dwarfs I know of for this super quality : 9 / 10
2 Look : Fantastic looking model with great detail and character : 10 / 10
3 Quality : The quality of the metal is great ! No work removing surplus (= No surplus ) : 10 / 10
4 Cleaning of the model : No work because there's NO surplus ! : 10 / 10
5 Painting and time spent painting ; 10 / 10
Very satisfying result for every level of painting
and super fun ! ( but that's me )
6 Shipping : Very fast and perfect packaging : 10 / 10
